The Hacker Fund is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families with children facing medical hardships in our community.

Since 2014, our annual Hacker Classic Golf Outing has raised over $200,000. The Hacker has granted 19 wishes through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

These incredible stories include a family’s deep sea fishing trip to the Bahamas, fulfilling a child’s dream of being a Pixar Animation Studio voice actor, updating a local school’s choir room and more.

Our inaugural Fairway Frenzy Gala is scheduled for February 22, 2025 at Avalon Grand Resort. The Frenzy will further support our mission by providing two scholarships to high school seniors that have helped an individual close to them through a medical challenge or persevered through a challenging time themselves.

  • When my son Jason went through kidney failure and my other son donated his kidney to save his life, I realized how fragile life truly is. Even before the surgery, Jason wanted to help others and established the “Hacker Classic” which raised over $200,000 in 11 years. This is a very special event filled with love and support that is clearly felt by everybody in attendance, as well as the children and their families which it supports. I am a very proud father to see all of the positive impacts that have helped so many.

  • The Hacker Classic is an event that brings so many together from all over the United States with people attending for one common goal: to help individuals facing hardships out of their control. Helping these individuals through granting a wish or supporting a local family during trying times means so much to our family. I have been very fortunate in life and being able to be a small part of giving back is truly amazing.

  • As a recipient of the Hacker Fund and Make-A-Wish I cannot express how much gratitude I have for this event. My wish was granted at a very difficult time in my life. I have had the pleasure of participating in the event several times and I can see how much hard work and dedication goes into this. I cannot thank Jason and his team enough.

  • The Hacker Classic is an annual highlight for our family. Not only is it a guaranteed good time with family and new friends alike, but it is an honor to be a part of an event which has given so much to the Make-a-Wish foundation. For over a decade it has become a tradition of helping which we are honored to support!

  • For me, the Hacker started as just another golf outing. Over the years, however, it has evolved into so much more than that. It has been inspiring and humbling to see the significant impact the Hacker has made for many families as they battle through a tough time. I always look forward to playing in this event and supporting such a worthy cause while spending time with amazing friends.

  • This loyal foundation speaks to the commitment and value of paying it forward with a dedicated group of family and close friends. It’s an honor to be associated with such an amazing organization that continues to raise money for Make-a-Wish. Knowing we are able to put smiles on so many deserving faces when they need it the most makes us all very proud.
